The L76 engines were legendary. Exactly the same as the Fuelies but with a Holley carburetor instead of the mechanical fuel injection.
High profile camshaft with solid lifters to handle the high RPM's, special aluminum intake manifold to funnel air and fuel mixture faster into the cylinders, Big Valve heads to assist that too. 11 to 1 compression ratio to make the horsepower. These were screaming high performance small bocks from the factory!
